First Post - eBay Feedback

With this first post I would like to provide feedback on the eBay seller aldoukan. First, though a little background. When I first began planing the tiling that I was going to do on my back porch, I decided I would like to do some kind of mosaic design. I did a search and mosaicmarble.com was one of the first sites that popped up. Although they were expensive, the prices seemed pretty good for a hand made mosaic. Then I found that the same company sold the same items on eBay under the username aldoukan. They had a pretty food feedback rating so I ordered a mosaic from them.

I want to give a little more detailed feedback than what eBay allows on there feedback system. First thing to look at is the number of mosaics they have for sale on eBay. There are usually more than a thousand. I think they actually have very few of these in stock and they are made to order. Judging by the time between an item being sold and when the buyer leaves feedback it takes approximately 3-4 weeks for your mosaic to make it through production and to your house. So be prepared to wait for a bit.

Now the mosaic itself looks just as good as the pictures. Mine was missing a few stones, but they supply a few strips of marble that can be clipped easily with tile nippers. I will post some pics a little later once the install is complete. The piece was shipped via DHL and there service was horrible. The mosaics are shipped from Beirut and they actually made it to my city pretty quickly over the 4th of July holiday, but for some reason it took them three days to get it from the local facility to my house.
